Extend telehealth flexibility for Medicaid, Medicare, and other government programs past the COVID-1

Mental Health America National and other members of the Mental Health Liaison Group sent a letter to CMS Administrator Seema Verma requesting that telehealth flexibility for Medicaid, Medicare, and other government programs be extended past the COVID-19 emergency. CMS relaxed rules to allow for policies such as audio-only tele-mental health services during the pandemic. Advocates are hoping to collect data that will allow the changes to be permanent.
